Printmaking has been very important way of expression for me while I was still at school.

I created my first prints, woodcuts at the age of 15, by the method that still is appealing to me. The reason why I chose woodcut then is partly the same why I still find it so fascinating. It’s basically a simple technique, but it offers an artist a wealth of way to express him/her: colours, patterns, quality of paper, microstructures, textures, the variations are infinite.
